What Doorbook does with your data
Nothing leaves your device unless you send it. Doorbook has no server and no account. Your rooms, tenants, meter readings, bills and photographed leases are stored in the app on your iPhone or iPad.
iCloud
If you are signed into iCloud, Doorbook syncs your book between your own devices using Apple's iCloud, and Pro subscribers can back it up to their own iCloud Drive. That data is held in your personal Apple account, under Apple's terms — we cannot read it, and we have no way to access it.
Lease documents
Photographs of lease documents are stored in the app's own folder on your device. Pro subscribers' backups include them, in their own iCloud. They are never uploaded anywhere else.
Payments
Doorbook generates a payment QR code from the bank details you enter. It does not move money, does not connect to your bank, and never sees a transaction. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple; we receive no card details.
What we collect
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no third-party SDKs. We do not collect your name, your tenants' names, or anything else.
Deleting your data
Delete the app, and the data on that device goes with it. To remove the iCloud copy, use Settings on your device (iCloud → Manage Storage) or the app's own "Erase all data".
